SAN FRANCISCO, May 24 -
On May 21, an American PBY Catalina spotted a Russian merchant fleet several miles off the coast of Melnikov Island.
This island, located in the Berling Sea, was previously thought to be uninhabited and of no discernable strategic value.
Further investigation by US military operatives revealed the posibility of hitherto unknown constructions present at that location.
